Little Play Place is Tampa Bay’s newest indoor imaginative play space. It is located in the Carrollwood area of Tampa. It’s located in a plaza with restaurants and shops. When you enter the facility, you are greeted with a friendly smile by the owners, a mother and daughter team. There’s so much to do young children. Take a trip to the grocery store or visit the salon. There’s also an area where kids can pretend to be a veterinarian. I love that each play area includes cards that encourages role play with parents and caregivers. My boys had a great time grocery shopping at the market, learning in the classroom, visiting the doctor and helping with the construction zone at Little Play Place.
Little Play Place is opened Tuesday through Thursday with four play sessions a day. Each open play session lasts 90 minutes. After the play session, all the toys and play areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized by the staff at Little Play Place. This is a plus especially when trying to prevent little ones from getting sick. Visit their websitefor more information and to select a day and time. They also offer classes and workshops for your little ones to enjoy in a small setting. Looking to host a birthday party? They have a nice enclosed space to have a wonderful celebration for your kids.
I love that they have a mother’s room for women who are nursing or pumping. I was able to relax while feeding my baby. There’s water available and pumping bags. There’s also two bathrooms with a changing table available for babies. If you need a quick lunch or snack break, there’s tables and high chairs in the front of the facility. They also have a small retail space to purchase one of kind toys for your kids.
