Start by painting the back of the paper plates. This part is time consuming but it will keep the kids busy. Let the plates dry completely before moving on to the next step. Finally, add the matching stickers on the front side of the paper plate. I decided to use Easter stickers because I have so many at home. They were purchased a few years ago on clearance after Easter. You can also use markers to draw pictures or shapes for this fun learning activity. Now you are ready to play this spring matching game!

Want to make things more challenging for your children? Use markers to add sight words to the paper plates. I decided to use a timer for my 4-year old. He had one minute to complete this activity. It was funny watching him rush to find all the matching plates for this spring memory game. Have fun and adapt this game to fit your child’s age and ability.
