How To Make Easy and Delicious Waffles
Make sure you have all your ingredients on the counter for this delicious waffle recipe. This will make it easier for the kids to help out with the waffles. Also, make sure the measuring cups and spoons are on the counter too.
Make the batter by mixing the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Let the kids use either a fork or small whisk.
Next, add the wet ingredients and mix up the batter.
Preheat the waffle maker and set the temperature to medium. Brush with a generous amount of melted butter.
Use a measuring cup to scoop up some batter and pour it into the center of the waffle maker. Close and cook according to your waffle maker instructions.
Serve with your child’s favorite toppings. It’s strawberry season in Florida so we have plenty at home. You can also top it with whipped cream, powdered sugar or maple syrup. Get creative. Make silly faces on the waffles. Your kids will love it!
