Directions

  1. Start by downloading the Olympic Rings printable then print on white cardstock. You can also use cups or any circular object to make your own rings.
  2. Next, add each paint color to a paper plate.
  3. Now pinch a cotton ball in a clothespin and dip it in blue paint then stamp it on the first ring.
  4. Finally, switch out the cotton balls until all the rings are stamped. Make sure to use yellow then black, green and red.

This Olympic art project will be a lot of fun to create with toddlers and preschoolers. Older kids will enjoy this activity as well. It can get a little messy but that’s what make art so cool. Your little ones can practice color recognition and counting while stamping the rings. I love that it’s a simple craft that doesn’t require a lot of supplies. You can also use the printable as a coloring activity with markers and crayons.
