Easy Easter Bunny Painting Kids Will Love

Easter bunny painting

Your kids will love this Easter bunny painting activity! I wanted to switch things up from my typical canvas painting like this shark, heart and snowflake craft. My boys had a great time creating their masterpiece. You can customize your bunny using different color paint and glitter.

Supplies for Easter Bunny Painting

Directions

  1. First, use your Cricut to cut a bunny shape from removable vinyl. If you’re using removable contact paper, download then print the free printable to trace the bunny shape on the contact paper.
  2. Next, remove the inside bunny shape from the removable vinyl to create a stencil. If you’re using the contact paper, cut out the inside of the bunny to create the stencil.
  3. Peel the backing of the removable vinyl or contact paper then place onto the canvas panel.
  4. Now the fun begins! My son didn’t want to get messy so he used a foam spouncer. Your child can use their fingers, a cotton swab or cotton balls to paint their bunny.
  5. Carefully remove the contact paper or vinyl to reveal your beautiful bunny.
  6. Finally, your child can add glitter, sequins or a pom pom bunny tail.

I love the way the Easter bunny turned out! My son didn’t think I needed to add the glitter but he did appreciate the sparkle once the painting dried. You can make this at an Easter party or enjoy crafting on the holiday before egg hunting.
