Supplies for DIY Bolts
- Black headband
- Aluminum foil
- Recycled soda or water bottle
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun with glue sticks
Directions
- First, use scissors to cut the top part of the recycled bottles so that you just have the cap and the neck of the bottle left. Trim off any remaining plastic. See pictures below.
- Next, cut two square pieces of aluminium foil then wrap the pieces around the bottle caps.
- Finally, use a hot glue gun to attach the caps onto the headbands.
Supplies for DIY Frankenstein Costume
- Black or striped shirt
- Oversize black blazer
- Black dress pants
Dress your child in the blazer, shirt and pants. Complete the outfit by placing the DIY bolts around the back of the neck. You can apply green costume makeup to your child’s face using a beauty blender or sponge. Then use a waterproof eyeliner pen to draw scars and darken the eyebrows. Have fun and get creative!
