It’s an exciting time for the residents of Tampa Bay! Our home team will be playing in the “BIG GAME” and they are making history!!! There’s so much happening this week and everyone is looking for something to do. Safety protocols are put in place to make sure everyone is safe during this time. If you’re visiting from out of town or not familiar with different areas of Tampa Bay, I got you covered. I will be sharing some family friendly activities and places to visit. This place is a family favorite! There’s plenty for children to explore including a grocery store, firehouse, hospital, party zone and pizza place.

Pirate Water Taxi

Lost Pearl

Join the crew of the Lost Pearl on a fun adventure that includes learning to load a cannon, dodging cannon balls, passing cannon balls to each other and learning to defend yourself using water cannons.

Armature Works

This is a popular food hall with plenty of tasty options from delicious desserts to brunch to noodles and vegan friendly options. There’s something for everyone. My favorite place to visit is Graze 1910 and Bake’n Babes.

Sparkman Wharf

This modern waterfront area features restaurants, a beer garden & street-food stands. There’s plenty of outdoor space that is perfect for social distancing. Make reservations at Splitsville so you can enjoy a game of bowling and delicious food.

The Sail Plaza

This is a waterfront restaurant and bar that is located near the Tampa Convention Center.

Jackson’s Bistro & Sushi Bar

Fabrica Pizza

You can build your own pizza and order a sweet treat like gelato. Perfect for families.

Cafe Dufrain

Enjoy outdoor seating and a view of the water at this local restaurant.

Hyde Park Village

This is an outdoor shopping district with plenty of places to dine in the heart of historic Tampa. Check out Bartaco, Goody Goody, Irish 31, Sorrento Sweets or Sprinkles.

PLACES TO VISIT

Tampa Riverwalk

This is where all the excitement will be for the Super Bowl Experience. This stretch of downtown Tampa offers incredible views and places to eat along the Hillsborough River. To gain access to the Super Bowl Experience Presented by Lowe’s, fans will need to register for the NFL OnePass app to access any of the parks. Visit this website for more information.

Florida Aquarium

It’s a great place to get an up-close view of some incredible animals like stingrays, spiny lobsters, ring-tailed lemur and octopus . We always have a great time when we visit. Online reservations are required as well as masks.

St. Pete Pier

Take a trip across the bridge to visit this newly renovated Pier. Plenty of space to run around with the family. There’s places to eat and a nice playground for the kids. Visit my blog post for more details.

Busch Gardens

Plan a trip to Tampa’s theme park and visit the animals or enjoy thrilling rides. There’s an area dedicated for little kids that my boys love. Reservations are required for all guests.
