Supplies for Cotton Ball Stamp Jack-o’-lantern

Directions

  1. First, use your Cricut to cut a pumpkin shape from removable vinyl. If you’re using removable contact paper, download, print then cut the free template to trace the pumpkin on the contact paper.
  2. Next, remove the inside pumpkin shape from the removable vinyl to create a stencil. If you’re using the contact paper, cut out the inside of the pumpkin to create the stencil.
  3. Peel the backing of the removable vinyl or contact paper then place onto the canvas panel.
  4. Now the fun begins! Your child will need to pinch a cotton ball in a clothespin and dip it in orange paint. Stamp the pumpkin with the paint. Once your child has completely covered their pumpkin in orange paint, it’s time for the stem. Replace the cotton ball in the clothespin with a new one then dip it in the green paint. Stamp the stem with the green paint.
  5. Carefully remove the contact paper or vinyl before the paint dries to reveal your beautiful pumpkin.
  6. While your pumpkin is drying, download, print and cut the free jack-o’-lantern faces (see supplies).
  7. Finally, glue the faces to the pumpkin to complete your jack-o’-lantern craft.

You can customize your pumpkin by choosing a different color paint or using happy faces instead of spooky ones.
