We’re only a few days away from St. Patrick’s Day. Looking for more activities for the kids? Today I’m sharing a fun St. Patrick’s Day play dough tray for kids. It’s a great way to encourage creativity and imagination. Many of these supplies can be found at home so there’s no need to do any extra shopping. Check out the example of how my son had fun with his St. Patrick’s Day play dough tray for kids. This activity is great for toddlers, preschoolers and older children. They will be entertained for a long time. Play some fun music while they are making something cool with the play dough.

Supplies for St. Patrick’s Day Play Dough Tray
- Divided tray
- Plastic gold coins
- Pipe cleaners
- Plastic mini cauldrons
- Shamrock cookie cutter
- Play dough
- Alphabet Stamps
My 4-year old played with the play dough longer than I expected. He started out by singing “Happy Birthday” for St. Patrick’s Day. I thought it was adorable. Next, he counted all the coins then divided them evenly in the cauldrons. They have been practicing addition at school so he wanted to incorporate it with this activity. Let your child use their imagination with the play dough tray. I let my 4-year play uninterrupted to create whatever made him happy. It gave me a chance to get some things done around the house. Ask them questions about their creations when they are finished. I asked my son if I could help him roll the play dough. He also wanted to show me how he created different size shamrocks with the cookie cutters.
