Kwanzaa is a wonderful holiday that celebrates African-American culture from December 26th through January 1st. Families and friends come together to give thanks, enjoy music, dance and enjoy a delicious meal. They also light seven candles that represent each of the principles for Kwanzaa. These Kwanzaa books will be a great introduction for families who want to learn more about the holiday. I made sure to include options for young readers as well as older kids.
