I know most parents, caregivers and teachers enjoy a good craft, but only if it’s easy and requires a few supplies. Well, this fall art project is a great way to keep the kids busy without the stress of grabbing a lot of art supplies. Your kids will love this apple symmetry painting because each apple will have a unique pattern. I made sure to include an apple template to make crafting easier. Let’s get started!

Supplies for Apple Symmetry Painting
- Apple Template
- Pencil
- Glue
- Cricut (optional)
- Paint
- Scissors
- Cardstock

Directions
- First, download and print your apple template then cut it out. If you have a Cricut, find any apple image then cut it. This will be your template for the craft.
- Next, fold your apple in half then open the paper and lay it flat on a table.
- Add drops of paint on one side of the apple. Only use a little bit of paint. Smaller children may need help with this step.
- Fold the apple together and lightly press on it to spread the paint.
- Carefully open to reveal a beautiful apple symmetry painting.
- Finally, use a pencil to trace the stem of the apple on brown cardstock and leaf on green cardstock. Then use glue to attach the stem and leaf to the apple symmetry painting.
