Ingredients for Santa Claus Christmas Bark

First, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Next, start melting your peppermint candy melts in a melting pot or microwave. I love this Wilton Melting Pot because it was easy to use. Pour the melted peppermint candy melts on the parchment paper covered baking sheet. Finally, add the Christmas sprinkles and Santa Claus icing decoration (purchased at Target). If you can’t find peppermint candy melts, use white chocolate or vanilla wafers then add crushed peppermint candy.

Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator. Allow the Santa Claus Christmas bark to sit for 20-30 minutes. After that, remove it from the refrigerator once it has cooled. Now cut with a knife or break the bark into pieces using your hands. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to a week. You can also wrap this sweet treat in clear plastic and tie with a festive ribbon for a nice homemade Christmas gift.

Making this Christmas bark is so much fun especially if you have kids. They can help add sprinkles or other ingredients. If you have older children, you can have everyone make their own version of this holiday treat.
