Ingredients for White Chocolate Shark Bark
- 16 ounces white chocolate wafers
- Shark sprinkles
- 16 ounces confetti candy melts ( I purchased mine from Michael’s but I linked a similar one)
- Gummy blue sharks
- Baking sheet
- Chocolate pearls
- Blue nonpareils
- Offset spatula
- Blue food coloring
- Parchment paper
First, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat. Next, start melting your white chocolate wafers or candy melts in a melting pot, microwave or double boiler. I love this Wilton Melting Pot because it was easy to use. Use a spoon to scoop melted chocolate and alternate colors on the parchment paper covered baking sheet. Use either a spatula or toothpick to swirl the chocolate colors together. Finally, add the sprinkles, shark gummies, chocolate pearls and blue nonpareils to the top of the melted chocolate.
Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator. Allow the white chocolate shark bark to sit for 30 minutes. After that, remove the white chocolate bark from the refrigerator once it has cooled. Now cut with a knife or break the bark into pieces using your hands. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to a week. I doubt you will have any left after a few days.
I love that you can customize your white chocolate shark bark with any toppings. You can add something salty or use less candy. Want something healthier for your kids? Replace the chocolate with vanilla yogurt then add food coloring. Get creative with your shark week snack!
