Supplies for Torn Paper Acorn Craft
- Acorn template
- Scissors
- Cardstock (two different shades of brown & white)
- Glue stick

Directions
- Start by downloading the free acorn template. Then, print it on white cardstock. It will hold up better than regular printer paper.
- Next, let your kids tear the two shades of brown cardstock into small pieces. Use the darker brown for the acorn top and the lighter brown for the bottom.
- Apply glue generously inside of the outline of the acorn. Have your kids press the torn cardstock pieces down, overlapping them slightly to cover all the white space. Put the darker shade on top for the cupule and the lighter brown shade on the bottom for the pericarp.
- Finally, once the glue dries, you can cut out the finished acorn to hang up around your home or in the classroom.
