I’m always on the hunt for engaging Earth Day crafts, and my favorite projects are the ones that give a second life to everyday recyclables. This project is more than just fun, it’s a way for toddlers to work on their fine motor skills. My little one had a great time using recycled cardboard tubes to create this bubble wrap stamp art. Be prepared for a messy experience but it’s definitely worth it. Follow the directions below for an easy and eco-friendly activity.

Supplies for Bubble Wrap Stamp Art
- Recycled toilet paper roll
- Paint (green & blue)
- Rubber band
- Paper plate or small piece of cardboard
- Recycled bubble wrap
- Cardstock or construction paper
Directions
- First, place an old shirt or smock over your child’s clothes. If your child is older, they may not get paint all over their clothes so you may skip this step.
- Next, cut a small square of bubble wrap and place it over the recycled toilet paper roll.
- Use the rubber band to secure the bubble wrap on the recycled toilet paper roll.
- Add different paint colors to the paper plate. If you don’t have a paper plate, use a small piece of cardboard.
- Finally, dip the bubble wrap covered toilet paper roll in the paint. Stamp the paint on the construction paper or cardstock to complete this Earth Day art project.

I recommend keeping some wipes or a wet washcloth nearby if you are making this bubble wrap stamp art craft with young toddlers. My son had paint all over his hands and the smock. It was a bit messy but he had fun creating this bubble wrap stamp art. Hang it up to dry when your child is finished with this activity.
