Supplies for Marker and Foil St. Patrick’s Day Prints
- St. Patrick’s Day themed templates (landscape & portrait)
- Tray or bin
- Aluminum foil
- Scissors
- Washable markers
- Cricut (optional)
- Spray bottle
- Water
- Cardstock

Directions
- First, place a piece of aluminum foil on a table. Since this activity can get messy, I suggest covering the table with a plastic tablecloth or newspaper.
- Next, use washable markers to color the foil. Your child can make patterns or freely mix colors. Let them have fun coloring the aluminum foil. Make sure the coloring will cover the St. Patrick’s Day printable.
- Help your child spray the colored foil with water. The water will make sure the colors blend into each other to create a cool, watercolor effect on the St. Patrick’s Day printable.
- Take your St. Patrick’s Day printable and place it down, design side facing the colored foil. Gently press down to ensure every part of the St. Patrick’s Day printable comes in contact with the wet ink.
- Finally, slowly lift the cardstock off the foil. You will see a transfer of colors onto the St. Patrick’s Day themed artwork, creating a beautiful art project to celebrate the season luck and prosperity.
